A career built around people.
My career began in executive recruitment, where I worked with organisations across the UK and Europe to identify and appoint senior talent. Over the years, I developed a deep understanding of people, careers, organisations and the world of work.
I later founded and ran my own specialist recruitment business. Building a business from scratch was one of the most challenging and rewarding things I have done. I sold the business in 2023.
That experience gave me a new perspective on what it means to make big decisions, take risks, deal with uncertainty and eventually decide what you want your own next chapter to look like.
Because I have always been fascinatedby people.
I am fascinated by what motivates us and why we make the decisions we do.
I am interested in why incredibly capable people sometimes do not recognise their own capability.
I am curious about why we stay in situations that no longer work and what happens when someone finally gives themselves permission to do something differently.
My experience in recruitment taught me about careers and the world of work. Building a business taught me about entrepreneurship, leadership, risk and resilience. Coaching brings those experiences together.
